Evidence directory / Approved publication records

Open the source. Keep the claim attached.

This directory exposes the approved source layer behind NeobankDB. A record identifies the publisher, source type, authority tier, official or recorded URL, observation date and editor-approved notes. It does not convert one document into a global provider fact, and it does not expose raw crawler output or unapproved candidate evidence.

629 approved records from 176 publishers span 134 source types. Observations in this local pack run from 2026-07-11 to 2026-07-13. These are coverage counts, not a freshness guarantee, quality score or provider ranking.

Read the ledger

A citation is evidence, not the conclusion.

A source record answers a narrow question: what did this publisher document at the URL NeobankDB observed on the stated date? The public note records the approved interpretation used by a page. It remains separate from rendered comparison copy so an editor can change prose without silently changing the underlying evidence.

Source IDs create traceability across providers, market availability, comparisons and transaction edges. Reusing an ID does not broaden its scope. A United States agreement cannot prove a United Kingdom product, a pricing page cannot prove a legal entity, and a bank partner statement cannot automatically extend deposit protection to crypto, securities or another programme.

Observation date is not an expiry date.

The date shows when NeobankDB reviewed the public record. It does not guarantee the page is unchanged today. High-risk claims about entities, licences, protection, fees, availability and transaction support require launch-time or decision-time rechecking.

Authority model

Priority helps review; it never replaces scope.

Lower numbers generally identify stronger primary authority in this publication model.

01

Regulator, government and scheme records

Registers, regulator notices, payment-system operators and official protection schemes establish legal or market context. They can confirm an institution, permission, rail or protection framework, but only for the subject and jurisdiction actually named.

02

Legal terms and official operator records

Agreements, disclosures and operator documents identify contracting roles and binding conditions. A long legal document can still be product-specific, date-specific or silent about the feature a visitor wants to use.

03

Protection, pricing and product schedules

Fee schedules and protection guidance support exact values and conditions. They must not be merged across plans, audiences, currencies, rails or markets. A listed fee is not a guarantee that the underlying transaction is available.

04–05

Official guidance and product pages

Help centres and product pages document customer flows and marketed availability. They support operational instructions when the entity and market align, but they rank below contrary legal or regulatory evidence.

06–09

Listings and discovery evidence

App listings and lower-priority discovery records can help locate a product or conflict. They do not independently approve a material legal, protection, fee or route claim. Competitor records remain discovery-only.

Conflict

Two official records can still disagree

Authority does not permit silent conflict resolution. NeobankDB retains both records, scopes the disagreement and blocks a positive conclusion until an approved review explains which source controls and why.

Operational states

The directory fails closed when evidence cannot resolve.

Interface state and evidence state remain separate.

Loading

Filter changes announce a temporary loading state; the directory does not flash an invented match while the approved set is recomputed.

Empty

A zero-result filter shows no approved match and offers a reset. Candidate or private evidence is never promoted to fill the list.

Stale

An older observation date is visible, but date alone does not assign a stale fact state. The material claim must be reverified and explicitly classified.

Error

Missing IDs, duplicate records or malformed publication fields block the directory instead of generating replacement metadata.

Unavailable

If approved notes or a required field are unavailable, the record says so. It does not ask a model to reconstruct private editorial context.

Conflict

Source presence is not a majority vote. Contradictory material evidence requires human review, market scope and an explicit publishable state.

Public boundary

The ingestion system stays private.

Public visitors can inspect approved source metadata and the notes used by publication views. They cannot access crawl snapshots, extraction prompts, rejected facts, private reviewer discussion, credentials, support messages, customer data or unpublished change candidates. Those records require separate access control, retention and audit policies.

No crawler or model can publish directly. A candidate must pass schema validation, subject and market scoping, source ranking, conflict analysis and human approval before it appears here. Corrections and before-and-after provider events will use their own workflow rather than silently editing this directory into a news feed.
